A young woman struggling with chronic pain derivative of her scoliosis, attempts to avoid surgery with a hunt to find the right doctor. Overwhelmed, lost and feeling hopeless, her parents bring her home to talk some sense into her and convince her that surgery is her best and only answer. But once home, she comes face to face with her past and unstable relationship with her father, causing her to question this return. After a disagreement with her parents, Dana eventually caves and agrees to see their recommended surgeon, leading her to regain trust in her parents and the health care system. White Noise is a slice of life story that tackles the subject matters of chronic pain, depression, body dysmorphia, family dysfunction and self-acceptance.
