Livia Pillmann is a writer, producer, director and actor. She has studied acting for 4 years under the mentorship of Rick Walters and has acted in numerous projects and has produced one feature film. Livia’s mission is to tell meaningful, powerful and engaging stories. She believes to accomplish this, she needs to have an extensive knowledge of the movie making process. The short film, “The End…” is her first film as a director a marks her debut where she acts, directs, writes and produces a work.

Director Statement
I directed this film, The End… as I wanted to show both sides of my character, Viktoria. She is highly trained to eliminate targets, however has a human touch to her. At the end of the movie, when she single handedly removed the target, who is the biggest African mobster, she questioned if that’s all there is in life. Is revenge enough? Her handler, Giorgio was surprised by her answer when she said: maybe that’s not who I am. I thought it was. That shows that Viktoria is looking for a more meaningful life. Maybe there is more to life than money and contracts? That made Giorgio rethink his values.

This film will always be special to me because this was the first project that I wrote, produced and directed. I had a vision and even if I had obstacles, I continued to get closer to my vision every day. I got to experience the filmmaking process and all the elements to it, what a journey!
