Director Biography - Malakai Tyne Bisel
Malakai Tyne Bisel is an award-winning writer and director. His films often touch on subjects such as the power of narrative and identity. His films have played in several festivals, including Hobnobben, Imaginarium, and the Upstate NY Festival. His experiences as a journalist, touring musician, and blue-collar worker often play into his work. His acting experience primarily consists of improvised character work, but he is known to act out each character’s arc in his screenplays in order to better understand them.
