It all begins when eight prodigy teenagers are summoned to a mysterious project. The project is envisioned by a controversial neuroscientist, and celebrity doctor who, a decade ago, fell from grace: Dr. Porter. The ultra-secret project is not entirely known by the kids, who are lured to this experience by Dr. Porter's promises.

All the kids have unique and fantastic skills and among them, only young Ava has an average background; she is the girl next door. Ava, Quinn, Arthur, George, Bubbles, Allegro, Luiza, and Jean are taken to a rural property, in the middle of nowhere not knowing what awaits them.

At the farm, called Camelot Farms, the teens meet Dr. Porter and her team. They have their skills tested and receive peculiar training every day.

At the end of each day, they must respect a strict curfew that prevents them from investigating the strange sounds, slight tremors, and iron odor that permeate the property at night. Through the window, from above their bunk beds, they watch as Dr. Porter performs a sequence of physical movements, almost a choreography, strange and inexplicable.

Curiosity and lack of answers causes the group to band together to investigate what is really going on. They discover that Dr. Porter makes daily transmissions to someone through radio equipment in an RV from outside the house.

The kids break into Dr. Porter’s quarters and discover that she is using pseudoscience techniques to test them. The Dr. believes that the farm region has a distinct energetic activity. Her theory is that on the longest night of the year, the winter solstice, there will be a giant discharge of energy and a planetary alignment capable of enhancing the talents already existing in each one of them.

From then on, a riot and a race against time begin. They are not sure what Dr. Porter's real intentions are, who she works for, and what could happen to them if they interrupt the process. Among the group of young people there are affections, disaffections, disagreements, and alliances. The relationship between them (and between Dr. Porter and her assistants - Code, Mac, and John) will affect the course of events until the fateful moment of the solstice. When the lives of each one of them, and the reality of their world, will never be the same.
